NXTGEN is supporting a successful and well-established organisation in West Norfolk with the recruitment of an Assistant Management Accountant. This is a newly created role within the head office finance team, offering the opportunity to work closely with the Finance Business Partner and play an important part in the day-to-day running of the finance function. The role would suit an experienced finance professional who has a strong grounding in transactional accounting but is keen to develop further exposure to management accounts, reporting and wider financial processes. Key responsibilities will include: Maintaining accurate customer and supplier ledgers Completing regular bank reconciliations Investigating and resolving account discrepancies Supporting credit control and supplier payment processes Assisting with month-end journals, accruals and prepayments Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts Reconciling balance sheet accounts Producing financial reports and analysis using Excel Ensuring finance processes are accurate, efficient and well controlled Working closely with colleagues across the wider business to resolve queries Supporting the Finance Business Partner with ad hoc projects and improvements ..... full job details .....
