CNC Miller - High Precision Heavy EngineeringLocation: DudleyHours: 8am-4.30pm, with overtime availableSalary: £15.50- £20 per hourWe are currently looking for an experienced CNC Miller to join a busy precision engineering operation.The RoleThis is a hands on, high precision machining position. The successful candidate will be expected to work confidently and independently, taking full ownership of their components from initial set up through to final inspection.You will be responsible for:Setting and programming your own CNC machines and components.Producing large, complex components to demanding tolerances.Carrying out your own pre-inspection and in-process checks.Working from engineering drawings and specifications.Selecting appropriate tooling, work-holding and machining strategies.Ensuring components meet the required dimensional and quality standards.Working safely and confidently with large and heavy components.Working unsupervised and taking responsibility for the quality of your own work.Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.Candidate RequirementsProven CNC Milling machining experience.Experience working within a heavy engineering/manufacturing environment.The ability to set and program their own work.Strong drawing interpretation skills.Experience working to high-precision tolerances.Experience carrying out their own inspection and quality checks.A high level of attention to detail.The ability to work independently and unsupervised.Experience ..... full job details .....
