HW Finance are looking for an experienced Interim Financial Reporting Consultant for a successful, outside IR35, based in Manchester city centre / hybrid for 3 to 6 months. As Financial Reporting Consultant you will primarily deal with statutory reporting, consolidations and audit and across a group of multiple entities. Working with finance teams and external auditors to deliver accurate, timely accounts and reporting, while helping coordinate the consolidation process. Duties: Prepare and support the delivery of statutory accounts for multiple legal entities. Coordinate audit activity, including preparing audit schedules, responding to queries, managing information requests and populating files. Preparation and review of consolidated financial statements. Reconcile intercompany balances and resolve consolidation discrepancies Review financial information for accuracy, completeness and consistency. Work with internal finance teams and external advisers to meet reporting deadlines. Identify and address issues in reporting processes, controls and supporting documentation. Person Specification: Qualified accountant, with a recognised UK qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA. Seasoned interim who can work autonomously but is happy to do the heavy lifting. Strong experience in financial reporting, statutory accounts and audit. Proven experience supporting consolidations across multiple entities.
