Rydon Maintenance are seeking a dedicated Skilled Window and Door Repair Operative to join our repairs and maintenance team in Canning Town. The role will involve carrying out inspections and window/door repairs and replacement in tenanted social housing properties. Rydon Maintenance operates throughout England successfully providing facilities management services to a variety of clients, predominantly within the healthcare and housing association sectors. We focus on maintaining, improving, and enhancing properties with a range of maintenance and repair services. Job Purpose We are seeking a Windows and Doors Operative to complete window and door inspections, maintenance, repair and replacement (uPVC and timber units). The role will involve travelling around social housing proprieties in Canning Town where we carry out external redecoration and maintenance works. You will be provided with a company van and fuel card for travel so a UK driving licence is required. Key Responsibilities include; Inspection of windows and doors to assess whether repairs or replacements are required. Repair, service, and replace windows, doors, locks, hinges, seals, and handles. Remove and fit double-glazed units. Sealant/silicone work and draught-proofing.
