Job Title: Repairs SupervisorLocation: SuttonContract: Permanent | Hours: 40 per weekSalary: £47,276 - £52,830 per annumThe Opportunity:An established social housing organisation is seeking two Repairs Supervisors to lead teams delivering responsive repairs and maintenance services across residential properties.This role combines technical expertise, operational leadership and customer service, ensuring repairs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.Key Responsibilities: Supervise and support a team of repairs operatives.Inspect repairs relating to building fabric, plumbing, mechanical and electrical works.Diagnose defects and determine suitable repair solutions.Investigate complaints and provide clear repair recommendations.Carry out pre, during and post inspections of void properties.Produce scopes of work and manage remedial actions.Monitor quality, compliance and service performance. Essential Requirements: NVQ Level 3 or above in a building trade.Experience within repairs, maintenance or construction.Experience supervising operational teams.Strong knowledge of responsive repairs.Ability to diagnose and resolve property defects.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Full UK driving licence.Experience using NEC or similar repairs management systems. Desirable: Level 4 qualification in Planned Maintenance.CIH Level 4 qualification.Social housing or housing association experience.
