This is a trainee Motor Vehicle Mechanics Tutor post for a qualified and experienced Automotive Technician/Mechanic. No teaching experience is required for this post and full teacher training and support is provided.

Are you a fully qualified and time served Motor Vehicle Mechanic/Automotive Technician? Could you be interested in a Motor Vehicle Mechanics teaching position? Balance Education is currently working with a client based in Milton Keynes that is looking for a Tutor to teach technical short courses to experienced automotive learners. Our client is willing to take on a qualified mechanic/technician with main dealer industry experience and support them with teacher training.

Package and Benefits:-

- Starting Salary - -40,942 inclusive of Car Allowance (-37,000 + -3,942)

- Top End Salary - -47,802 inclusive of Car Allowance (-43,860 + -3,942)

Essential experience and qualifications:-

- A Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle

- At least 5 years experience as an automotive mechanic or technician in the industry.

- A keen interest to work in education.

- Main Dealer Experience

- Technically Qualified

- EV Qualified (preferred)

Job Description:-

Monday to Friday

Permanent - Full-time

Provide technical training to experienced motor vehicle learners in both workshop and classroom environments. Curriculum, facilities and lesson planning is provided. You will be using your knowledge and experience to present and demonstrate topics and will be encouraged to share your industry experiences to give real world industry context.
