Are you a Commercial Director / Commercial Lead looking for a key leadership role where you''ll help win and deliver larger-value projects, build senior client relationships, and shape the commercial function within a growing specialist contractor?

On offer is a high-impact, permanent position with a well-established business working on technically demanding healthcare construction projects, including refurbishments and new builds, often within live environments where quality and control are essential.

This company are recognised in their niche, retain staff through a close-knit culture, and generate a high level of repeat business. With a strong pipeline over the next 4-5 years and plans to diversify into larger projects, they''re now looking to bring in a senior commercial leader to help drive growth and maximise profitability.

In this role you will work alongside the other Directors, overseeing commercial governance across projects, managing risk, variations, claims and disputes, and leading the commercial, procurement and administration teams while monitoring budgets, margins and cashflow.

This role would suit a senior commercial professional from a main contractor background looking for a leadership position with real ownership, senior stakeholder exposure, and long-term development (including support towards relevant courses where mutually beneficial).

The Role:

• Commercial Director role within a specialist healthcare construction contractor
• Office-based in Redhill with occasional site visits
• Oversee NEC/JCT contract administration, commercial risk, variations, claims and disputes
• Lead and develop commercial, procurement and administration teams
• Mon-Fri, (8:30-4:30 with some flexibility)

The Person:

• Commercial leadership experience within a main contractor / construction environment
• Strong project controls, contract administration and commercial governance capability
• Construction-related degree and member of RICS or CIOB
