Domestic Gas Service Manager

Alecto Recruitment Ltd currently have a superb opportunity for a Service Manager with experience in the plumbing, heating and gas industry to join a leading and very reputable client of ours.

Joining as the Gas/Heating Service Manager, you''ll be responsible for leading and managing a team of gas engineers, heating engineers, and heat pump engineers.

To be considered, you''ll need to have a proven background as a heating engineer / or trainer and with strong management skills.

Salary and Package

• Basic Salary up to -55k (negotiable subject to experience)
• Profit share & bonuses - OTE -65k+

The Role

As Service Manager, you''ll lead the service team across domestic gas boilers and air source heat pump work.

• Managing the service, repair and breakdown team.
• Responsible for planning and overseeing the day-to-day workload, making sure jobs are completed on time and efficiently.
• Managing engineers - scheduling, coordinating work etc.
• Responsible for engineer performance, training etc.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong management experience, ideally having worked in a previous position as a Gas or Heating Service Manager, or a Gas Trainer
• Previous hands-on experience as a Heating Engineer or Gas Engineer (therefore previously held gas tickets such as CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1)
• Air Source Heat Pump knowledge, or F-Gas also desired - however isn''t essential
• Strong communication skills
• UK Driving Licence
• Commutable to areas such as Reading, Berkshire or South Oxfordshire
