Trainee Team Leader Northampton to Hereford We are recruiting a Trainee Team Leader for a well-established British manufacturing business specialising in leather and textile products for the safety, industrial and work-at-height sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous manufacturing or production experience to develop their skills through dedicated training and progress into a Team Leader role as the production operation transfers from Northampton to Hereford. Job Details Initial Location: Northampton Future Location: Hereford Salary: £38,000 per annum Role Type: Full-time, permanent Initial Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 08:00-16:30; Friday, 08:00-12:30 Future Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00-16:00 Break: 30 minutes unpaid Salary Payment: Monthly, on the last working day of the month About the Role The successful candidate will initially work at the existing Northampton production facility, where they will receive approximately five months of training in leather manufacturing processes and machinery. The production operation, including all machinery and equipment, is scheduled to transfer to Hereford in February. Until the transition is complete, the company will cover travel and hotel accommodation expenses from Monday to Thursday. On Fridays, the candidate will work at the Hereford facility.
