To £60,000 plus fantastic bonus and benefitsOur client is the Asset Finance division of a highly successful bank. They are looking to recruit an experienced Asset Finance Collections Team Leader.The successful candidate will be a results-driven leader with a background in Asset Finance Collections. You will play a crucial role in leading and coaching the Collections team to achieve outstanding results. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient collection of Asset Finance arrears and maintaining a pro-active collections strategy.Your Responsibilities:Line manage and coach all direct reports, including all aspects of performance management, development, conduct, sickness management, appraisals, employee administration, and recruitment.Create Personal Development Plans with each member of the Collections team and execute upon that plan.Be accountable for the results and performance of the Collections team.Effectively monitor and manage workflow queues and activities.Act as the escalation point for the Collections Officers on technical queries and take escalated calls from Brokers/Customers as required, as well as being the initial escalation point for other Functions such as Credit and Customer Service.Pro-actively manage the asset finance portfolio.Assess each arrears account and assist the team in making appropriate recommendations to management as to the most appropriate action to resolve, while also treating the customer fairly.In the first instance, please send your CV in strict confidence to
