Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced Production Supervisor to work for a company in Witney, OxfordshireRole: Production SupervisorLocation: Witney, OxfordshireHours: Full time, Monday - FridayKey Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor:Production Team LeadershipWork alongside production operatives, leading by example and maintaining a hands-on involvement in manufacturing and assembly.Help manage and coordinate the daily activities of the production team.Allocate work based on priorities, individual skills and workload.Monitor daily progress to ensure production targets and deadlines are achieved.Provide guidance, support and practical assistance to team members.Maintain effective communication between production staff and management.Identify production bottlenecks, inefficiencies and resource issues, taking appropriate action to resolve them. Production Planning and SchedulingAssist with planning and scheduling production activities to meet customer delivery requirements.Ensure jobs progress in the correct order, with urgent orders identified and prioritised.Monitor work in progress and identify potential delays before they affect delivery schedules.Coordinate the movement of work through the various stages of manufacturing and assembly.Liaise with management regarding production capacity, workload and delivery commitments.
