This is a great opportunity for a Transport Administrator, Transport Coordinator, or someone with a logistics background looking for their next step, although full training will be given to the right person. Key Responsibilities of the Junior Transport Planner / Transport Coordinator include; Assist with daily route planning and vehicle scheduling activities. Support the optimisation of routes to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs. Control booking capacity for all sites, ensuring compliance with lead time SLAs Liaise with customer service, warehouse, and operational teams to ensure smooth delivery execution. Ensure compliance with transport legislation, driver hours regulations and company policies. Produce daily vehicle utilisation reports for key stakeholders Provide transport administration support to the planning team.
