SMS is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our established quality team, working in a three shift rotation at our Newton Aycliffe site. We re looking for a process-driven individual with a passion for the automotive industry, who takes pride in ensuring the highest quality standards are met. Responsibilities: Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections of automotive parts and assemblies using work instructions and measurement tools. Ensure all products meet required specifications and quality standards. Maintain accurate inspection records and report any non-conformances to the quality control team. Work within strict company and customer policies and procedures to maintain quality and compliance. Requirements: Confident, enthusiastic, and proactive. Previous experience within a manufacturing or Quality position is desirable but not essential. Punctual and dependable. A strong communicator with excellent attention to detail. Self-motivated and able to follow processes accurately.
