Job Title: Factory Kitchen Assistant (Temporary - 1 Week)
Hours: 7:00am - 2:00pm (Monday to Friday)

Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our factory catering team in Thetford for a temporary 1-week assignment during the week commencing 15th September. The role mainly involves dishwashing and keeping the kitchen clean and organised, while also supporting with basic food preparation and other kitchen duties as required.
Key Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to a high standard (main responsibility).
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Assist with the preparation of food and ingredients when needed.
• Support the cook/chef in daily meal service for factory staff.
• Receive and store deliveries correctly.
• Follow all food hygiene, health & safety, and company policies.
• Carry out any other reasonable tasks as required by the supervisor/manager.

• Previous kitchen or catering experience desirable but not essential (training provided).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
• Reliability and punctuality.
