About the Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Youandrsquo;ll work as part of a collaborative and supportive department, with a focus on maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

  Plan and deliver high-quality maths lessons tailored to a range of learning abilities

  Use a variety of teaching methods and technology to engage and inspire students

  Monitor, assess and report on student progress using both formative and summative assessments

  Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of all learners, including those requiring additional support or extension

• 
  

  Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

  Take part in departmental planning and wider school initiatives

  Stay current with developments in maths education and participate in relevant CPD

The Ideal Candidate

• 
  

  Holds a degree in Mathematics, Education or a related field (Masterandrsquo;s desirable)

• 
  

  Possesses QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent

• 
  

  Has experience teaching maths at secondary level

• 
  

  Demonstrates strong classroom management and subject knowledge
