Contracts Manager HS2 12-Month Contract Project: HS2Location: Aylesbury / BuckinghamshireDuration: 12 monthsContract: Freelance / CIS / LtdRate: £450 per day We are currently seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join a major HS2 infrastructure project on an initial 12-month contract. IMPORTANT MANDATORY REQUIREMENT Key Responsibilities Take overall responsibility for the successful commercial and operational delivery of allocated contracts and work packages. Manage contracts from mobilisation through to completion and handover. Lead and manage Site Managers, Engineers, subcontractors and wider delivery teams. Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme. Manage subcontractor performance and contractual obligations. Monitor project progress, costs, resources and programme performance. Manage variations, change control, compensation events and contractual notifications. Identify and manage commercial and contractual risks. Work closely with Commercial, Project Management, Engineering, Planning and SHEQ teams. Lead progress, commercial and coordination meetings. Maintain strong relationships with the client, principal contractor, subcontractors and key stakeholders. Ensure compliance with approved RAMS, ITPs, quality requirements and HS2/EKFB standards. Monitor subcontractor programmes and delivery against agreed milestones. Assist with forecasting, cost control and monthly reporting.
