Job Title: Refrigeration PPM Engineer
Location: North East England
Salary: -32,000 per annum
Hours: 45 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Refrigeration PPM Engineer to join our dedicated engineering team, delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across retail stores in the North East of England.
As a key member of our mobile engineering workforce, you will be responsible for carrying out routine servicing and maintenance of refrigeration systems to ensure they remain operational, compliant, and energy-efficient.

• 
  Perform PPM tasks on refrigeration systems in line with service schedules and SLAs
• 
  Diagnose potential issues early to prevent breakdowns
• 
  Maintain accurate service records and complete job reports using handheld technology
• 
  Ensure compliance with F-Gas regulations and all relevant health & safety standards
• 
  Liaise professionally with store managers and facilities teams
• 
  Identify any remedial work needed and report accordingly

• 
  F-Gas certification (Category 1)
• 
  Proven experience in PPM on commercial refrigeration systems
• 
  Full UK driving licence
• 
  Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• 
  Good communication and organisational abilities
