Dental Nurse Assessor Required - Remote working role
As a Dental Assessor, you will play a key role in supporting and developing the next generation of dental professionals. You will manage a caseload of apprentices enrolled on the Level 3 Dental Nursing Apprenticeship, providing guidance, assessment, and support throughout their learning journey.This role requires exceptional organisational and communication skills, proficiency in IT, and a genuine passion for education and learner success.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport apprentices and employers throughout the apprenticeship journeyMaintain regular communication with apprentices and employers via phone and emailPlan, prepare, and carry out workplace observations in dental practice settingsProvide constructive feedback using various methods - written reports, verbal feedback, and coaching sessionsMark and assess apprentice work promptly in line with weekly submission deadlinesConduct progress reviews with apprentices and employers every 10-12 weeksMaintain accurate, up-to-date records of apprentice progress and assessment outcomesPromote high standards of learning, professionalism, and achievementRequirementsQualified Dental Nurse with active GDC registrationExperience working within a dental practice environmentHold a CAVA / Assessor qualification (or equivalent)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organisational and time management skillsAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively within a teamCompetent in using IT systems and digital platformsAbil
