Technical Designer - Workplace / Retail Fit-out and Partitioning 3 months initially £400 per day inside IR35 Hybrid: 4 day office/1 day remote (typically Friday) London - W1 BenchIT now seek to appoint an experienced Technical Designer. Working closely with the Technical Director, the role will deliver into high-profile construction and fit-out projects. The role will produce exemplary technical drawing portfolios that will include RCPs, GA plans, Joinery, partitions, elevations as well as bespoke requirements. The role will work with concept designers and project managers to ensure both design integrity and practical buildability is maintained, resolving technical queries from sub-contractors, pre-con teams and suppliers. The role is ultimately seen as a champion of best practices in technical design, drawing and documentation standards as well as ensuring that all technical information aligns with CDM, HandS and statutory requirements.
